Korea s CJ Entertainment has pre-sold Park Chan-wook s Untitled Project, set to star Song Kang-ho, to France s Wild Side Films and Russia s Maywin Media. Currently in pre-production, the film is about a small-town priest who volunteers for a medical experiment which fails and turns him into a vampire. It was previously known as Bat. Maywin Media also acquired Russian rights to Lee Chang-dong s Secret Sunshine, which won best actress at this year s Cannes. CJ has also sold mystery horror Shadows In The Palace, which premiered at this year s San Sebastian, to Germany s Splendid, while Australia s Mingyo has signed up for Kim Ji-hoon s political drama May 18, which is Korea s second highest-grossing local film so far this year.
