Western Eyes: 20th Century Art Here and Now explores how artists as diverse as T.C Cannon, Georgia OKeeffe, Fritz Scholder, and John Sloan responded to the distinctive cultures and environment of the Southwest with styles informed by national and international trends. The exhibition also highlights the museums role in fostering these developments in New Mexico. On stanley cup view March 12, through Jan. 8, 2023. With the exciting opening of the New Mexico Museum of Art Vladem Contemporary just on the horizon, this is an opportune time to look back at the way the New Mexico Museum of Art has engaged national and international narratives of contemporary art over the past century, and look at how artists working in this region have responded to stanley mug int stanley nz ernational movements, said Christian Waguespack, curator of 20th Century Art. By OLGA CHERTKOVLos AlamosI have read the letter to the Los Alamos Daily Post from JoAnn Johnson, North Mesa Stable Area Objections Are Much Ado About Nothing! , and I see that stanley france she does not care at all about opinion of other citizens of Los Alamos, her ignorance looks like this: 8230; You should be happy to live next to my horse 鈥?She was there first 鈥?you have no choice 鈥?waste of time and resources 鈥?There will be no changes鈥?.Her argument that in the 1960s the horse stables were considered free from contaminations holds no merit today, 50 years later. During the last 50 years the horse stables have become enclosed by residential communities and have become too polluted to be ignored. Presently, new studies, undertaken by the CDC, illustrate the dangers of living near contaminated animal feeding environments. Furthermore, since the 1960s our understanding of groundwater, soil and gourde stanley air pollution ha stanley termosy s advanced, and, consequently, so too have our health and environmental standards. As such, I believe it is time to reevaluate the health impact of the stables on the nearby community.I have lived in Los Alamos since 1999 and on North Mesa since 2001. As a property taxpayer, I expect some of the money which I have paid to be spent on maintaining adequate infrastructure and environmental health.
