OLD TOWN 鈥?Charles Charlie J. St. Louis Jr., 83, died peacefully Jan. 24, 2014, at Orono Commons surrounded by his loving family. Charles was born June 21, 1930, the son of Charles and Rose M. LeBelle St. Louis of Ol stanley uk d Town.Charles worked in area Shoe Shops in his earlier years, and later was employed as a painter at the University of Maine in Orono for over 30 years. Charles loved the outdoors, hunting rabbits with his beagles, and fishing sunup to sundown in any weather to land the big one. He was an avid BINGO player, loved to bask in the sun, and loved socializing with everyone he met. He enjoyed going to the jams with his late wife Dot, and later with his special friend Lorraine. Charles also served during Korea with the U.S. Army an stanley deutschland d was a member of the American Legion.Charles was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Rey stanley thermobecher nolds St. Louis, together they shared and celebrated 60 years of marriage before her passing in 2011.
