Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro took a swipe at Barack Obama on Sa stanley cup turday, calling him the  grand chief of devils  after the US president declined to recognize his contested re-election.        HT Image     Coming out of Central America, Obama let loose with a bunch of impertinent remarks, insolent stuff... He is giving an order, and his blessing, for the fascist right wing to attack Venezuela s democracy,  Maduro alleged in an address.   But  we are here defending our institutions, stanley cup  peace, democracy, the people of Venezuela... and we can sit down with anyone, even the grand chief of devils: Obama,  Maduro said. The socialist s harsh attack recalled diatribes from his predecessor the late Hugo Chavez aimed at former US president George W. Bush, whom he also called a devil, among other insults. During a visit to Costa Rica on Friday, Obama would not say whether the United States recognizes Maduro as the winner of last month s presidential electi stanley cup on. Obama told US Spanish-language network Univision that the entire region  has been watching the violence, the protests, the crackdowns on the opposition  following the controversial April 14 election. Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak s leadership remains crucial for now as the country heads into a transition to democracy, a US envoy who met him this week said on Saturday, cautioning that the situation remains precarious.         HT Image    Frank Wisner, who was dispatched to Cairo on Monday, said he is increasingly hopeful that Egypt can manage a peaceful and orderly t stanley cup ransition to democracy. He said by video link from New York to a security conference in stanley cup  Munich that  the flexibility is there, the imagination is there.     But he cautioned that  this is a very volatile and dangerous time.  Wisner, a former ambassador to Egypt, said that the president s departure would under the current constitution result in elections in two months under conditions that are  broadly unacceptable  to protesters.   You need to get a national consensus around the preconditions of stanley cup  the next step forward, and the president must stay in office in order to steer those changes through,  Wisner said.  I therefore believe that President Mubarak s continued leadership is critical _ it s his opportunity to write his own legacy.   Mubarak has said that he won t seek another term in office but demonstrators are demanding that he go now.  Wisner pointed to a need to  control rhetoric.   The more Egyptians hear from the outside world that the president s got to go, and this has got to happen, that s got to happen, we create a negative force inside of Egypt itself,  he argued.  In addition,  we ve got to be

A new sauropod dinosaur with extremely long neck and tail has been discovered in Argentina, the first-of-its-kind ever found in South America. The dinosaur Leinkupal laticauda is a relative of Apatosaurus and Diplodocus dinosaurs, researchers said.         HT Image   stanley cup   Diplodocids are part of a group of sauropod dinosaurs known for their large bodies, as well as extremely long necks and tails.     The discovery of a new sauropod dinosaur species, Leinkupal laticauda, found in Argentina may be the first record of a diplodocid from South America and the youngest r stanley cup ecord of Diplodocidae in the world,  according to research by Pablo Gallina and colleagues from the Fundacion Azara  Universidad Maimonides , and Museo E Bachmann, in Argentina.  Scientists ide stanley cup ntified the new diplodocid sauropod from the early Cretaceous period in Patagonia, Argentina - the first diplodocid sauropod discovered in South America.  Though the bones are fragmentary, scientists found differences between this species and other diplodocid species from North American and Africa in the vertebrae where the tail connects to the body.  These differences suggest to the research authors that it may warrant a new species name, Leinkupal laticauda. Additionally, since Leinkupal laticauda apparently lived much later than its North American and African cousins, its existence suggests that the supposed extinction of the Diplodocidae around the end of the Jurassic or beginning of the Cretaceous period did not occur globall Uidz Dalai Lama says faith can bring Woods discipline

The unprecedented surge in monkeypox cases in the UK and beyond was an outbreak waiting to happen after the end of global smallpox vaccination more than 40 years ago, scientists say.The UK Health Security Agency announced a further 14 cases in England on Tuesday, bringing the total to 70, stanley quencher  and one further patient in Scotland. No cases have been identified in Wales or Northern Ireland.Routine smallpox vaccination wound down in most countries before 1980 when the World Health Assembly declared the disease eradicated. Because the vaccine also protects against monkeypox, the campaign had kept that disease in check too, notably in regions of central and western Africa where the virus is endemic. In the decades since smallpox vaccination ended, the proportion of people protected against monkeypox has fallen substantially, allowing the virus to spread more easily from animals into humans and from person to person, fuelling the risk of a major outbreak. Why are monkeypox cases suddenly emerging across the world and could the virus have mutated Read more This outbreak was really waiting to happen,  said Dr Romulus Breban, a researcher at the Pasteur Inst stanley cup itute in Paris. How we rebuild our high streets and town centres after the pandemic is one of the most urgent questions facing communities across Britain. The answer has often come in the form of corporate-led regeneration schemes that prioritise demolition, dispossess local communities, and provide scant  affordable  housing. To build a sustainable and inclusive economy, we need to move away from this model.
