Madison County Rolls Out The First Smart Bus ; In The StateMay 14, 2013 Tom Kenny, The Madison County Public School System said it rolled out the first Smart Bus ; in Kentucky.It   a retrofitted bus that offers students a filtered Internet connection.The unit used to access the Internet in the bus can be removed and hooked-up to other power sources.The district said there was a one-time cost of $300 for hardware that turned the bus into a mobile hotspot.
