NASA s associate administrator for space operations William Gerstenmaier has outlined plans for supplying the International Space Station ISS after the Space Shuttle is retired in 2010. With the loss of the Shuttle s 25,000kg 55,000lb payload capability for delivering and returning cargo, NASA and its ISS partners have been discussing how to continue supplying the station.Gerstenmaier says his team has been working on the plan for a year, detailing the use of Russian Soyuz and Progress spacecraft, the European Space Agency s Automated Transfer Vehicle ATV , Japan Aerospace Exploratio dunk panda n Agency s HII-B Transfer Vehicle HTV and NASA s Commercial Orbital Transportation Services COTS programme. Only the Soyuz and Progress have flown so far. ESA s ATV should fly in 2008, Japan s HTV in 2009 and the commercially developed COTS vehicles have a deadline of 2010 for cargo de adidas samba livery demonstrations. Conceptually [the plan is] one ATV per year, one or two HTVs per year, then three Progresses per year for US use and resupply and, depending on the vehicle, two to three COTS vehicles in add yeezy ition to that, says Gerstenmaier, suggesting at least nine spacecraft will be launched every year in a bid to keep the space station operational.Under the ISS framework agreement, the station partners have supply and crew transport responsibilities. Source: MipcomFrench TV festival Canneseries has confirmed its third edition will take place on October 9 to 14 during international content market MIPCOM, which is scheduled to run October 12 to 15.The first two editions unfolded alongside the MIPTV market in March but the 2020 edition was postponed this year after MIPTV was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.The Canneseries team said this years edition will be both physical and digital to welcome as many international participants as possible at a time when many professionals are travelling less.The digital events will run on new platform bannered Canneseries Live, which will be open for th yeezy e duration of the festival and give access to exclusive screenings, masterclasses and intervi owala usa ews with festival guests.As previously announced renowned US producer Gale Anne Hurd will be president of the official competition jury.Six of the ten previously announced competition titles and nine of the ten short format series have been reconfirmed for the delayed edition.
