DECATUR, Ga. - Police say a Georgia man was fatally shot after meeting with two people who advertised a pit bull for sale online.Authorities responded to a home in DeKalb County just after midnight Friday and found a man fatally shot in the front yard.READ: Expert: Craigslist s  ethos of anonymity  leads to crimeLt. Antonio Catlin of the DeKalb County Police  air max Department told CBS Atlanta it appears two men from North Georgia came to DeKalb County to sell a bulldog yeezy  they had advertised on a dog breeder website. Catlin said the dead man was posing as a buyer and when the two sellers arrived, he pointed a gun at them and told them they were being robbed. One of the sellers then drew his own gun and fired, killing the man, according to Catlin.                                        After the shooting, the dog sellers drove off, but then stopped and called 911, Catlin said. It is odd and, of course, we re investigating to find out exactly why they would come  converse at that time of night. I think the call came out shortly after midnight, which is very unusual why someone would come that late to sell a dog,  said Catlin.        Authorities have since learned that the dead man may be linked to four additional robberies, reports CBS Altanta. At least one victim was robbed on the same street and in the same manner. He had reportedly been using a fictitious address. This case comes on the heels of another in which a Georgia couple was killed after traveling to buy a car through an advertisement pl

Wisconsin s primary is supposed to take place a week from Tuesday,  stanley cup but there are growing concerns about a shortage of poll workers and  stanley cup whether there will be enough resources to ensure a flood of absentee ballot requests can be processed.Nearly 60% of Wisconsin municipalities reported a shortage of poll workers as of Monday night, according to the Wisconsin Elections Commission  WEC . Collectively, those jurisdictions said they are short almost 7,000 poll workers. The worker shortage means 111 jurisdictions are saying they can t staff a single polling place, while another 126 said they aren t able to find workers for all of their desired locations, leading some cities to consolidate polling locations. On Monday, Waukesha, a Milwaukee suburb with more than 70,000 residents, announced it would only open one polling place on election day.                                        In a memo, WEC Administrator Meagan Wolfe acknowledged that clerks are concerned about the  possibility of unexpected absences due to illness or fear on election day  and many worry they lack the  adequate depth  to handle those issues. Two national groups representing freelance writers and photographers on Tuesday filed the second legal challenge to California s broad new labor law that aims to  stanley cup give wage and benefit protections to many people currently working as independent contractors. While the public focus has been largely on ride-share companies such as Uber and Lyft, the lawsuit brought by the American Society of Journalists and Authors and the National Press Photographers Association, who have 650 members between them, says the law would unconstitutionally affect free speech and the media. The law mdash; set to take effect January 1 mdash; makes it harder for companies to classify workers as independent contractors instead of employees, who are entitled to minimum wage and benefits such as worker s compensation. It establishes the nation s strictest test and could set a precedent for other states to follow.  New Jersey lawmakers have introduced a similar bill, and worker advocacy groups in New York are pushing for similar legislation in that state.                                         The law establishes a limit of 35 submissions per year, per client, for freelance writers, editors, and visual journalists before they can be considered employees.
