Thursday, Jun 11 2009Senate Approves Legislation That Would Permit Reimportation of Drugs from CanadaThe Senate on June 20 voted 62-28 to approve a measure that would create a one-year pilot program to allow pharmacists and adidas campus 80s wholesalers in the United States to reimport drugs from Canada, where medicines are often cheaper, the Los Angeles Times reports Anderson, Los Angeles Times, 6/21 . The amendment includes a provision that would require the HHS secretary to certify that medications reimported from Canada are safe and would save consumers money.
