LAMC Newsos Alamos Medical Center LAMC is very excited to announce that it is upgrading to a state-of-the-art MRI machine. The SIGNA Artist Evo MRI from GE Healthcare will offer more imaging capabilities, have a larger opening, deliver improved clinical excellence and operational efficiency, all while transforming the patient experience.While the space is prepared and the new equipment is installed, MRI services are still available at the hospital with stanley tumblers a mobile unit visible at the front of the hospital. The advanced technology in this mobile scanning suite delivers high-quality images. LAPS News:Jim Sims, a long time resident of Los Alamos and engineer at Los Alamos National Laboratory, was rememberedMay 30, as the scholarship created in his name was awarded to graduating Los Alamos High School seniors Joshua Dyer and Zoe Challacombe.Sims worked for 34 years at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a design engineer and leader of project engineering teams. Sims was a gifted Mechanical Engineer with a distinguished career. He was essential to the success of highly visible programs that have enhanced the scientific and eng stanley quencher ineering reputation of the Laboratory. Sims also was committed to mentoring young engineers, designers, and students, generously sharing his knowledge and experience.Joshua Dyer is the son of Rick Dyer and Debra Gentile. He plans to study Mechanical Engineering at New Mexico State, where he will start in the fall.Zoe Challacombe is the daughter of Matt and Jean Challacombe.
